Dubai-based Spacetoon TV has picked up broadcast rights to Fauna Entertainment’s preschool series Kukuli across the MENA region.

Kukuli (26 x seven minutes) follows the adventures of a wildly active monkey and his two best friends, who highlight the importance of enjoying life in the moment.

Already a popular preschool show in Turkey, where Fauna is based, the series is currently available in 55 countries and 13 languages. For Spacetoon, it will be dubbed in Arabic when it launches in 2022 on the broadcaster’s free-to-air channel and Spacetoon GO streaming service.

Kukuli joins several recent acquisitions in Spacetoon’s lineup, including Hasbro/Entertainment One’s Transformers: Rescue Bots (104 x 22 minutes) and Power Rangers Beast Morphers (44 x 22 minutes), which the channel picked up in April.
